This tutorial will allow you to use HDD’s that are not ‘certified’ by Microsoft.
This specific tutorial is written for use with the Western Digital 120 GB BEVS series ONLY.

0×2204 2754 MS logo in PNG format (aka hddss.bin), made with Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004 on the 19th of July 2005
